I was born in Peace River, Alberta, and grew up in Red Deer County, Alberta.
My first pony was an albino Shetland pony with blue eyes who always rolled under the fence and got loose.
My first camera was a Polaroid that my mother gave me as a gift.
My next horse was an Appaloosa gelding called King Buster Bars who almost cut his foot off on a barbed wire fence.
I competed in Tetrathlon as a teenager- running cross country, swimming, target shooting, riding cross country
I rode in the Red Deer Pony Club and competed in Prince Phillip Games and Three Day Eventing.
I had a 3/4 grey Lippizan gelding named Crackerjack.
I competed in my high school rodeo.
The most obscure place I have travelled is San Fernando de Apure, Venezuela.
I always wanted to be a travel photographer.
I was an extra in the Oscar winning movie “Capote” filmed in Winnipeg.
I started my official photography business in October 2006.
I love living in High River, Alberta and hope to have another horse oneday.
